AUTHOR BIOGRAPHIES Rosalyn Sally
SALLY PARK RUBIN
Sally trained as a fine artist at Boston Universitys School of Fine
Arts and San Jose State University, where she graduated with a BA in sculpture.
She also studied linguistics and cognitive biology with Logonet, Inc., an
educational corporation; she worked under the tutelage of Dr. Fernando Flores
and the staff of the Ontological Design Course. Sally has worked as a writer
and an artist in various mediums. In the past twenty-five years, she has been
a sculptor, monoprint artist, art teacher, animator, and art director and
producer of animation in her own boutique 3D animation company. Sally has
written screenplays, ghost-wrote Living Aikido (North Atlantic Books),
and has polished dialogue for novels, documentaries (Tibets Stolen
Childa Garthwait & Griffin film), and an upcoming major motion
picture, Ollie the Otter (Critterpix, Inc.). She is currently producing
an independent feature film. She is a passionate activist for childrens
health issues and is an essay contributor to KQEDs Forum and
The Autism Perspective, a quarterly magazine. Sally has taught Aikido
at the Aikido Institute, Pacific Boychoir Academy, and to private clients.
She holds a second degree black belt and has practiced yoga/meditation for
over 35 years. She lives in Oakland, California with her husband and son.
